The author did a good job showing how one incident can color a person’s actions when something triggers memories later. The three have some hot chemistry. Along Came Merrie is the first book about outlaw motorcycle clubs that I have read and it did not disappoint me. In fact, I’m looking forward to reading more about this series as the author had an interesting epilogue to this story.

Along Came Merrie, is an action packed romance I read in one sitting. The dynamics between the three characters was phenomenal. They battled their way through the complexity of a polyamorous relationship in a realistic way that made me believe in their love.  Each scene was carefully thought out and moved the story forward while revealing something important. She did a great job of weaving in important details; so casually, you almost missed them until they became important. That was one of the things I enjoyed most. It was a good balance of romance to suspense, but in the end I think the plot was focused on more than the romance, as it is with most Romantic Suspense. Overall, I found the mixture of suspense and romance came together to form one emotional  and intriguing read.

I really enjoyed this story. The sex was sizzling and despite the relationship developing rather quickly, it didn't feel all that rushed. I enjoyed the strained relationships, the angst and the ultimate ending to their parts of the story. I enjoyed Beth Carters writing style and would definitely read her again.

I loved the three lead characters – they were interesting in themselves, and their interactions held true to the traits that one would expect. And together they were steamy hot! A few times they reminded each other (and the reader) just how short a time they'd known each other, but somehow it was still believable.

I've read a lot of biker books, but I have to say I was really happy with this book. It's very unique and the characters were very well written. I loved the way Merrie was taken in by the brothers and taken care of.

I enjoy this book from this author, I love Merrie and her energy, she is never was down on herself. These three all have very different personalities and I love the author didn’t comprise them in order to make the relationship work quicker or play up the age difference majorly. Brant is hardened by his past love life and isn’t open to chance and acts at times as a little kid throwing a tantrum as unsure how to deal. Leo is ready and willing and is ready to have fun. He doesn’t see anything wrong and Leo is a big kid at heart in a good way and balances out the relationship. It the perfect mix and I enjoyed the story as they make their relationship and work and discover why someone wants Merrie dead.

  Review by The Romance Reviews

While this is essentially an erotic romance, there is a strong element of suspense woven into the storyline. Someone wants Merrie eliminated and will do whatever it takes to make sure it happens. As the storyline progresses, the three main characters wrestle with the concept of a permanent ménage arrangement. There is plenty of erotic description to make this a sizzling hot read sure to keep your interest.

With Along Comes Merrie, Beth D. Carter has created a bloody and violent, yet beautiful, romance of a woman whose will to survive surpasses a traitor's need to make easy, illegal money and her men who are willing to protect her even to the risk of their own lives. If this is only the introduction to the Red Wolves MC series, it will be hard for me to wait for the rest of the books!

This book had suspense, romance and sex.  It was well written with an excellent story. It wasn't just all about the sex, though there was plenty of that, but a very good plotted story.  I did find myself thinking Merrie could have made better choices at the beginning, but she proved herself to be brave, strong and confident.  She got lucky when she was found by Braden and Leo, they were very caring men, who took a chance on helping her.
A very nice quick read.  I would read more by this author in this series.
