On Beasor, Alden's Pub in the capital of Catalai is a neutral place for all Beasors to meet and hang out. Even the three kinds of magical Beasors can come and drink without being bothered. Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves all have their own kind of power, and were sought after by ordinary Beasors for their magic. The magical Beasors can also travel through the alternate universes, and interact with the beings in each one.
A group of Beasor friends find their world changed in a series of interactions with the human universe, and love becomes the greatest power to help each couple heal from their wounds.
