This is the second book in the series, best to read in order, but not necessary. The premise that widows can have fun, enjoy life and their sexy times is shining through in this story. I do love a strong woman and one who has live a little.
Looking forward to more from this series.
The book is a steamy, quick read and doesn't disappoint at any time.

Author Katherine E. Hunt has given readers some exciting and quick romance reads with her Mended Hearts series. Each book features a new heroine and resident of a special community of very satisfied widows. Each book also features some very sexy men who are there to cater to their needs. It's pure fantasy (at least, I don't know of a similar place) and a lot of fun. Kendra has lived in the community for a while and has settled into a pleasurable routine, never getting close enough to anyone to involve emotions. The arrival of a man from her past upends her world, and she has to decide whether or not to risk those pesky emotions. The story is seven chapters in total, succinct and sexy. The author still manages to provide an HEA (or maybe HFN?), as well as a couple of laughs. Make sure you look out for Chip and Dale!
