I really enjoyed the storyline, the mystery, and the anticipation of “catching” the assailant. Also, the struggles Daryl endured on behalf of his family members' acceptance of his lifestyle mixed with his soaring feelings for Aldric, were engaging and kept me on my toes, rooting for their HEA. On the other hand, the narrator did absolutely nothing to bring these characters to life. Daryl’s character's voice was the only “believable” narrative, while Eliott sounded entirely too old for his age and Aldric appeared to be a child, which kind of destroyed the visuals on a few scenes. A switch in narrators, or two, would do wonders for this audio experience.
