Such a wonderful story that had me from the start. I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll just say read the book. You won’t be disappointed in the least as it has romance, adventure, action, magic and fantasy all woven into one story...Fantastic read. Highly recommended.

This story is full of surprises. I read one section and it takes a turn and you bump into a big surprise. Made for a very exciting book.

I highly recommend this book. If you like fantasy books, talking cats wearing boots, fairy tales, and good triumphing over evil with an HEA, then you will love this book.

Angel Martinez writes retellings of fairy tales exactly how I like them. They lean a little toward the dark side and the romance is hard fought for the MC’s...The author does more than just retell a tale too. She gives the characters some real depth so the story stands on its own while respectfully paying homage to a classic. The HEA happens and it doesn’t come easy or without sacrifice, but it fit with the story so well and these guys deserved it.

Boots was a fun, magical read! Such a spin into an adult M/M fairytale! I was intrigued from the start! The story was funny at times, and touching just the same! The story morphs into one of hope and dreams! Such an adorable love story!

This was my first experience with an Angel Martinez book and I'm so very happy it was 'Boots' that I read. This was such a wonderfully adult fairy tale! It made me laugh, it made me yearn, and it definitely brought tears to my eyes. Darn you, Angel! I loved big, strong, caring Willem, and Kasha was an absolute delight in every way. The ending was great and I just adored the whole book. Thank you, Angel, it was a pleasure.

I love retold fairy tales!  I love how an author can take a recognizable skeleton plot and add, change, twist, and fold it into something entirely new...the story is the classic sacrifice and redemption that makes any good fairy tale work.
