I liked that even though it was a short story, there was a plot line and the characters had to go to work and talk about things like moving and exploring as normal people would.

This is a really short, hot and steamy read. Two long time lovers have made space for a third, and now feel bereft without him. We see just how close they are to each other, and how they will survive the loss, but how they really do not want to be without Sera. Unusual for a short story, we get three well rounded characters, development of them as people and a vision of their future. We also get some scorching memories and some seriously hot make-up sessions.

What a quick and spicy read! Heat of the Day is one of those reads that once you start you will be unable to set it down! Yes it’s a quick read, but Lily Harlem does a spectacular job of drawing you in that you don’t want to leave. They were hot themselves and I knew if Sera joined, it was going to sizzle! I look forward to getting my hands on that sure to be hot little number!
