Sean's long time crush, Cal, is visiting his sister and is suddenly being kicked out for the night so that she can give her friend the attention he needs after his fubar day. Cal decides he doesn't want to get involved so he heads out to a pub, but not before bumping into Sean on the street. Sean is adorable and perfect boyfriend material and usually the type of character that takes all of my attention. But it was Cal who had me thinking and dissecting. He's more complex and it's interesting to watch him make his way through all the roadblocks he's put in his own way. Whoosh, this is a whirlwind read! It felt lightning quick because it had just the right amount of tension to keep me glued to the page and enough spice to be a page turner .

If, like me, you’re into the whole friend to lover or crush on best-friend’s brother – this is totally for you.

I liked the story of how Sean's worst day ever suddenly turned into the beginning of his bright future with his dream man. Sean and Cal had fancied one another years before, and now it appears the time is right for the characters to finally get together. I loved Cal's strength (and could forgive his rapid turn around to suddenly wanting Sean) and I adored Sean's character, so much so, it would have been great to see them appear in a longer book. The story moved at a rapid pace with quite a dash of sex. All-in-all, a very enjoyable quick read. I'll definitely be interested to read more from this author.

This was a really cute story… I enjoyed it very much… This was a quick love story especially for people like me that need a reading fix. The length will last you through lunch and give you a pick me up… I give this book 3 diamonds and hope to see more from this author…

This is a really sweet short story. It could easily have been a fabulous novel. I like Lee Barrows writing style and didn’t want this story to end. I wanted to know more about Sean and Cal. I wanted to see their life. The good times and the struggles. Bad days get us down but Lee’s turns out to be not bad at all. If you’re looking for something short, sweet, and entertaining; then this is a great read.
