This quick, but intense read is very good. The unexpected attraction between two people who seem to be completely incompatible turns into a great romance. Some of the lines are really poignant, especially in relation to Blue's house, and make one stop and think. I loved the chemistry, the divided loyalties, and the true friends – all excellent ingredients in a well written romance.

The progression of the relationship between Solo and Eric is delicious. I loved that they both had to fight themselves and the odds of everything around them to be together. It’s lovely in a gritty, bad boy way. And it’s seriously hot.  As a bad boy/MC romance, this story is a winner.

I enjoyed this intense romance with a gritty biker and his cop love interest. The romance is a bit insta-love but the sex doesn’t rule the relationship, as hot as it is. The emotional connection between the leads is developed enough for me to recommend this on a romance and not just erotic level. The mystery is enough to pull the leads together but resolved enough for this long novella.

Of course I was going to read this book - the biker and cop combination was so appealing - and I wasn't let down. It had the sizzling elements I expected, plus some unexpected tenderness. This is a story of opposites attract, but it's really a story of two men who want the same things. Solo may be a member of a MC but he's out to protect the kids from drugs. I liked the pairing of the main characters. I like that Solo was a deep down good guy, and I loved that Eric fell for him. There’s not too much room for character development, but I could see how the men were drawn together. Yes, it's a bit insta-lovey and the sacrifices made for each other happened quickly, but that's okay because I'm a sucker for romantic gestures. Perhaps the major downfall for me was the response of the MC members to the revelation Solo was gay. I wanted more but I'm looking forward to the rest of series.

The way Blue slowly starts to melt Solo’s iceberg exterior was expertly handled by the author and the sex scenes between these two? Still fanning myself thinking about them! Carol Lynne then took us on a journey of secrets, homophobic hate by the Club, police corruption and also how Solo learns that his name doesn’t mean that he has to be by himself, he can let someone in and be loved for who he is!

Nothing I love more than a biker book which includes hot men and romance. I thought there was plenty of action, sex, and drama to make it interesting. It was a great story which read real quick. The characters I thought were developed well.  Blue the cop and Solo the biker.  I liked Solo more between the two, he had more personality and sex appeal.  Plus he was a romantic at heart. I thought it was a great start to a new series.  Makes you wonder if Rowdy will be next. Loved the cover!

Although I’d never thought to seek out a novel about bikers, I’m happy that I chose this one. Both intense and sexy as all get out, Solo is a fast and enjoyable read. Carol Lynne is a new author for me and I instantly enjoyed her voice and the unique and exciting characters she created. I hope to see many more books in this series because I want to know what’s in store for Eric, Solo, and all the rest of the Grave Diggers.
