This was an awesome book to read. The characters and situations are like ones you would encounter every day, which I really liked. The words flow easily from one to another. This story will definitely suck you in and keep you sucked in until you finish the last page.Review by Kay Redd
This story reeled me in! Tori develops an intricate and believable world of suspense while also keeping a romance in the forefront. The characters are well-developed and personal, human beings with flaws like you and I, and I grow to care so much about them. Chantel is a sweet and funny teacher, but also a strong, independent woman. Teague has a huge heart, but constantly being on the run makes for a life of little connection. After a hot, romantic weekend together, both are forever changed. He finds himself wanting things he's been afraid to want and her deepest desires are awakened, which leaves her questioning her belief system at its core. Amidst all the craziness, they remain drawn to one another, only deepening their connection. The plot takes unexpected twists and turns which kept me on the edge of my seat, all the while pulling for Chantel and Teague to find the love they so desperately deserve. I was absolutely sucked in and sunk by this story. There was so much going on that it kept my attention and kept me up way past my bedtime reading it because I had to know what happened. There are quite a few twists that happen in the story. Some I saw coming, some I didn't. I would happily (and quickly) read another book by Ms. Carson. This was an action suspense thriller through and through with some HOT D/s romance going on too. I couldn’t put it down. Didn’t want to stop reading.
