Shifters. Bailey Bradford. Exactly what I needed to immerse myself in. 'Exodus' is book two in her new series, 'Valen's Pack', and considering how much I enjoyed the first book, I had high hopes for this installment. I was very pleased that the author continued to actively incorporate Valen and Aaron, as that really helped me to connect with the series. This post-apocalyptic world Ms. Bradford has created has limitless possibilities for surprises, and it appears the author plans to make full use of them. I can't wait to see where this storyline is going to go with the human disease, and integration of the species. Oh boy, Bailey, you've got me drooling for the next installment.

Faced with one realistic calamity after another Valen’s Pack stands strong in Exodus.  Everything is thrown at the valiant pack, including a spicy romance between Rivvie and Matthew.  They are either going to kill each other, die broken hearted, or finally become true mates.  A wild twist no one saw coming ups the ante for the Exodus.  Sexy, scary, and fantastic, Exodus is a serious page turner.  What will happen next?

Bailey Bradford has created such a unique world here, that although this book could be read as a standalone, I strongly recommend you read book one first. It will give you a better understanding of the people in this book and their relationships to each other, and to the world that the shifters and the few remaining humans inhabit. The love that develops between Matthew and Rivvie are just a small part of this riveting book and I am looking forward to the next installment in this series.

While we get to see the romance between Rivvie and Matt take shape, we also get to see what Valen has to deal with as the pack Alpha. Ms. Bradford holds true to the series title – Valen’s Pack – and includes some rather tough situations for Valen and the pack to overcome. Not only are they challenged with the growing pains of an integrated pack, they also have to deal with attacks from outside of their pack from both humans and Mother Nature when the title of the book comes into play. While Valen was forced to make some hard choices, Rivvie was given the opportunity to show his true worth as his brother’s Beta and did so admirably. I loved the unexpected twist that Ms. Bradford included as a result of the human and shifter integration and am looking forward to see how that continues to play out in the next book in the series.

Bailey Bradford really surprised me with the twist in this series arc and I am anticipating the release of the third book where more answers get revealed and more partnerships in the making.

Bailey Bradford’s prehistoric-futuristic world is one of transparency where life is never taken for granted and the world is for the taking. The vivid language, the descriptive scenery, the bluntness of Ms. Bradford’s writing has captivated this reader and catapulted me into an existence of post-apocalyptic-ness survival.   Run With the Moon set the stage for the series and Exodus has further cemented Ms. Bradford’s ability to create a new world and given me a desire and need to forge ahead in this series. I am spellbound as to how Ms. Bradford will bring the survival of the fittest to the vanguard of civilization and the propagation of man and beast.

Oh wow, I have to say this story totally blew my mind. The book has scenes in it that had me holding my breath waiting for the outcome. Was highly impressed with the entire book.

The intimate scenes were hot, passionate, and sexy and added some much needed pause in between the dangerous situations the pack found themselves in. Bailey Bradford definitely outdid herself with this awesome book. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Highly recommended.

I’m really loving the world building and overall story with this series already.  Now, as far as Rivvie and Matt together and the aforementioned reader advisory. I love nothing more than when two characters have a bit of a kink and then find each other. The intro of characters at the end of this one has me completely hooked on the series. I’m not even going to say what happened because you’ve got to check it out for yourself, but if that doesn’t hook you nothing will.

This book is full on action with a fast pace that will keep you turning the pages. There is more to Rivvie than just being a joker and there is more to Matthew than just being a stud but it takes the two of them time and patience to learn that.

A brilliant second book in the series and I can't wait to read more. Thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely recommended.
