  Review by Crystal's Many Reviewers

This is a 60 page novella about Evan Walker, an assistant hired to work for Cree a celebrity in the middle of filming a movie. All Cree wants is to be accepted as a person not a celebrity. And he thinks he finds that in Evan.   It’s been a long time that I activity disliked a character, but I’m not a fan of Evan. And for an author to write an MC that I can get that invested in, well done! Especially, within only 60 pages, I found Cree loveable and just wanted the best for him. Be that Evan or not! Glad it all worked out in the end.

I was extremely impressed with this installation of the Hollywood Hotties Series. I loved Cree and Evan.

There is instalove situation, however, for once, it worked for me. This story wrenched my heart out and even made me tear up because I was that connected to the characters even though it is a short story. I felt like the characters connected in the heat of the moment, but everything they went through and finding out the real man behind the different facades they used helped them establish so much so quickly.

I can't wait for the next part of this story and can't wait to see where Mia takes the next characters!

Tunnel vision and stubborn souls almost ruin a true romance in Acting Out. Hot men, hot sex, and miscommunication are the key ingredients to this enjoyable story. Acting Out highlights a pair who is definitely meant to be together even if they fight the truth right in front of their eyes.

Acting Out is a quick paced love story. There was the insta-love factor but on a short novella it sort of has to be that way. It's a quick read but I was into it. I enjoyed the story, the intimacy between them. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Acting Out is a sweet and sexy story of two rather lost souls trying to find their romantic footing with one another. Despite everything thrown at them, they tough it out and find a way to make it work, even when neither thinks there’s a chance. A hot little story about honesty, forgiveness, and second chances.

You feel the emotions and feelings between Cree and Evan, and you understand where Evan is coming from and why he’s afraid to really trust Cree with his heart. The change that happens so quickly with Cree, showing his true self to Evan is great and shows that his persona is just an act and that he really does have a heart of gold and cares for Evan, is felt in his actions more than in his words. Mia kept you invested enough to want to keep reading and discover if the love Evan and Cree had for each other would play out as I thought or if there would be some kind of twist that I didn’t expect

The armor that Cree wears is to protect him from others. He doesn’t need people in his life that will use him for his fame or money. He doesn’t need lovers that are just looking to add a notch in their belt. So to keep users away he has created an image that keeps people out. The problem with that is his new assistant and how perceptive he his. Cree also sees something in Evan that he doesn’t see in many people and it’s that quality that makes him want more than just an assistant out of Evan.
