I really felt like the story progressed extremely smoothly, and it was done very well overall. This is the first series that I have read from this author, but I can tell you it won’t be the last! I would say that everyone should give this book a shot!

Nine years after their introduction in Size Matters (don't worry if you haven't read it, this works on its own) blind novelist Trey and sighted gym owner Lucien are still together in their unconventional relationship. I loved the times Lucien and Trey spent getting to know each other, really for the first time in 10 years. Trey has been living a reclusive life and Lucien opens up the outside world to him. The dual POV really worked in this book as the men each grew inside the relationship. There is a BDSM relationship, but it is not too heavy, and it felt natural and worked for the couple.

I really loved this book. Trey is an intricately complex character who really grabbed my imagination. There is tons of fantastic sex, kink and naughty butt-plug play. I’d be amazed if anyone could read it through and not need a big glass of cold water to help cool down. Yet there’s such depth of emotion, such love and trust between these two men. It’s a brilliant thing to read and get swept away with. I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to others. A heartfelt, deliciously sexy story that will stay with me for some time to come.

I really liked how Sean changed the POV, so that you can see things through each character’s eyes. See how they were feeling and how things came across for them. I really enjoyed getting into each character’s headspace. I will say that Sean did an AMAZING job detailing Trey’s life and the way that he describes Trey’s experiences….Loved It!!

This book was wonderful from the very beginning and I didn’t feel that I missed ANYTHING by not reading the first book. I truly enjoyed watching the ever growing and changing relationship of these two characters.

This was a well written story about two men finding expressing their love and fulfilling their needs with each other.  It was also about acceptance.  Lucien never let Trey feel down about himself for having to do things differently than others.  Lucien was perfectly willing to accommodate any special things Trey needed to be comfortable, whether in public or in his own home.

Overall, this was another enjoyable, hot, and kinky read that I have come to expect from Sean Michael.

The BDSM is mild and sexy, with Lucien knowing when to push, and Trey sweet and submissive. He also knows how to reach for what he needs, as evidenced by Trey’s preparations in the first sex scene in the book. I won’t slip out any spoilers, but will say this is a loving, erotic read that will leave you happy and filled with warm fuzzies. Sean has another winner on his hands with Love Matters.

I loved their date nights and the activities that Lucien pushed Trey into trying as he learned about a whole new world outside of his home and writing. Sean Michael likes to write sex scenes and there are a LOT of sex scenes in this story. The BDSM element is pretty light, I liked it, there was a strong emotional attachment between the characters but Lucien did seem to want to solve everything with a good session and a butt plug!
