Review by The Novel Approach
T.K. Paige’s first book was handled wonderfully, nurturing the characters and combining tragedy of past days with the burgeoning love of the present.
The characters were wonderful, from the MCs, Mason and James to the townsfolk of Deacon; everyone read three-dimensionally and were believable, all fitting into the plot like puzzle pieces.
The story was wonderfully paced. For a novella, it can be easy to slip into bad practice when creating a timeline, but Paige had this story ambling along nicely, a three arc structure that stayed nicely within the lines of the set-up. Even the more dramatic scenes seemed to fit in well with this tale, the sex elevated it and the drama pulled it through to the cute HFN ending. Two thumbs up for that.
I couldn’t put it down. This author shows wonderful promise, and I look forward to seeing what we will see next.

This is a beautiful story of friends to lovers, towns sticking together for their own a little drama and mystery and some sweet loving man sex. It’s a great story for those times you’re looking for a very sweet romance!
If you like, firemen, paramedics, small towns, a touch of suspense, broken men, friends to lovers and happy endings this is for you!

Here For You by T.K. Paige is a great read. You just can’t go wrong with men in uniform. I also liked that the author didn’t shy away from mental health issues. She went there, and I think Ms. Paigehandled the conflict realistically and genuinely. I wouldn’t hesitate to by another book from this author.

This was a rather nice story. I liked the camaraderie between the guys at the station as well as with Mason and James.
All in all? An enjoyable story.

The recommendation for this book would come from the fun, witty tone of the first half of the book and the sweet wrap up as James and Mason both make it to a good place together.

James lives in a small town, he has lots of friends. He owns a business or two, he also a volunteer firefighter. The only thing missing is other gay guys. In comes Mason, a straight guy from Texas. Lust at first sight. This book was different from what I was expecting, the book had a nice slow build up. Lots of past problems rear there head before we get our HEA. I enjoyed reading this authors first published book.

Overall, this is a fair men in uniform story with two hot firefighters, and some important messages about the importance of equal rights for partners, and the lingering pain of gay bashing and assault. The characters are interesting and likable, and the men clearly care for each other.
