  Review by Hearts On Fire

I LOVED this story! It is easily one of my favorites of 2015 it made me smile, laugh, cry, had incredibly tender and hot moments, twists and turns and all in a short story!

This was incredibly well written, I felt pulled in from the first page and the wish that was not disclosed to Scott. The journey he takes in only 24 hours, even though the wish is not his, the life he gets to participate in for this day becomes his wish also. When he is returned to his life, he takes time off to try and find the village where he shared a home with Cameron to see if they could meet in real time.

That is when the twists really start and I can’t say anymore about the story or too much would be given away, but trust me when I say this is an incredible story that I highly, highly recommend to anyone who enjoys love stories that almost seem against the odds.

I have to say for a short story this packs a big punch. I can’t think of a thing I didn’t like. I would love more of this Djinn and see what kind of romantic magic he could do.

If you like sweet romance, Magic, Djinn’s, believe in soul-mates, want a good cry and some loving , hot, fun, mansex, you MUST read this.

I read and I cried and I was just overwhelmed. This is such a beautiful and unexpected story, very different from the usual and a read that grips the imagination and emotions. It frustrates and it challenges. It made me think: can I be Scott and make that ultimate decision and wish? Read this, you won't regret it.

I can imagine worse things than playing the spouse of a gorgeous man for one day of wedded bliss. I loved the twist the author put on this story. It made it so much more heartfelt, and it really made me feel. I got a little teary-eyed, and then I got an amazing happily every after! It’s a beautiful story!

he concept for this story was super cute, and the way it unfolded took me by surprise. There was a lot (A LOT!) of smexin' in the first half, but the chemistry between them and affection Cameron felt for Scott was palpable. I totally believed Scott felt something for Cameron by the end of their day together, too. And, yes, that "something" he felt for Cameron was enough for Scott to go looking for him in real time. You really have to suspend your reality when reading this little tidbit, but once I did, I definitely came away with a warm and fuzzy feeling from the whole story. All in all, this was mainly a fluffy story with low angst that I'd recommend if you're looking for a little sexy escapism.

I freakin loved it! I was not expecting to find such a great story in these short 60 pages. You’ve got a wish-granting djinn (who apparently moonlights as a cupid or something), forced marriage (if only for a short time), soul mates separated by cosmic forces (and maybe a bit more), and one hell of twist that had me ready to throw my kindle against the wall.  Add all that up and you got one hell of a story.

What a delightfully sweet little read!  A lovely fantasy of a story.

What I found about One Perfect Wish is that Brown took into account the trickle down effect, one action invariably leads to another, and another.  There were some tears shed and I found it curious that neither of the main characters appear to know how the events came to pass.  The fact that this is a “perfect day” for Cameron and Scott, and that it is not natural in origin, allowed me to overlook the rampant sex and other oddities found in the story. Brown set the stage and threw a curveball at the end, which is where those aforementioned tears came from.  Definitely an unusual but worthwhile read.

This was a fun and sexy little magical frolic. A workaholic wakes up thrown into the role of a perfect stranger’s husband thanks to a wish that a djinn needs to fulfill. The magic is only supposed to last for a day and it was all puppies and Christmas until I got to the part where we found who made the wish…that got me right in the feels. There had an unexpected and clever twist that I never saw coming. Well done, L.M. Brown for taking an erotic short and adding an emotional layer that took this to another level. This was a smart and spicy story. I’ll be checking out more from the author.

This one was an unexpected find. I fully recommend it if you can suspend reality and indulge in a bit of wishin' and lovin' and dreamin'.
