This story was just so exciting, dangerous and sexy! I was captivated from the start when Trent pulled Shawn out of the hotel pool where a drunken swimmer was acting a fool. Trent is large, in charge, brooding and really does have this cave man type of attitude. And while Shawn loves all the attention, craves it really, he wants to be sure they remain on equal ground. That they are lovers partners and equals. The chemistry is fantastic, and while they play off each other’s differences, their similarities really shines through as well. Morticia Knight definitely shows her ability to write complicated, sexy alpha males with a heart in this one.

The verbal interplay and the physical relationship between Trent and Shawn are a delight.
In addition to a delightful and quite lovely romance, there is a surprisingly interesting and intriguing story line involving a crazy and dangerous vigilante group. This action packed and angst filled portion of the story serves to solidify Trent and Shawn’s love for each other, and to help them realize that together they can meet any adversity and have a happy future.

Holy HOT male on male action. The chemistry between Trent and Shawn was off the charts. I thoroughly enjoyed them together and it was very believable. I liked this start to a promising series. All Fired Up is an extremely sexy and sweet story about two first responders who can’t get enough of each other. It’s a very real example of how hard it is to work as either a police officer or fireman and how much harder it is to love someone who is either. Overall this should be an automatic read for anyone who loves hot men in uniform, a gripping storyline (aside from the romance) and love earned the hard way. The characters are lively and with strong personalities. The story moves quickly and the dialogue is realistic and entertaining. This is a story about instant mutual attraction, but also about letting old fears and loss keeping a man from going after the man he wants, at least at first. I loved the character interaction in this one, the way Trent and Shawn danced around each other in the beginning was entertaining, and when they do come together, WOW watch out, the flames almost shoot off the page!Review by Angela
