Along the way, Trent and Mahon fall in love amid fighting against bear shifters, wolves and an annoying biologist. I really enjoyed reading this wonderfully written story. It had drama, action, love, intense fight scenes, and a lot of funny parts about the tarantulas and the way people reacted to them. Plus a lot of hot sex between Trent and Mahon. Bailey has delivered yet another amazing story. Loved it. Highly recommend this book.

If you prefer your shifters to be of the “vicious” persuasion rather than the “fluffy” kind, if you enjoy seeing two men going from being enemies to becoming lovers once they listen to each other rather than the propaganda they have been exposed to previously, and if you’re looking for a mystery filled with old secrets and some very hot and kinky bedroom action, then you will probably like this novel.

If you’re looking for a fun and gritty shifter/cowboy story you should definitely give this book a try! There’s just something about the Jacek brothers and their little ranch in Texas that grabs you.

I really enjoyed watching Trent and Mahon’s relationship grow. These two men who were loners and they found the person that they could love and be loved in return. I loved how strong Trent was. I loved how he was such a rock for those he cares about. There were so many really good intimate scenes between Trent and Mahon. I loved that these two found that not only could they have really good sex together, but that they also found intimacy that they’ve never had before. Their scenes together were really hot and intimate.

This story is good, and it’s a must-read for anyone who enjoys its predecessor Dark Nights. Several questions and story lines left hanging in Dark Nights are answered, and this story offers its own exciting plot twists and turns. Although I do feel that Trent and Mahon’s relationship develops rapidly, this story has raw sexuality, some unexpected tenderness, and two hot guys who steadfastly stay together against all adversity.
